I'm in an on line Auction!

This is pretty exciting!

I am part of a wonderful artist group called the San Juan Island Artists' Studio Tour, which happens on San Juan Island, WA from June 4-5, 2011.  It is self guided tour, of artist's studios all over the island.

This is our 20th year celebration, and in honor of that, we are going to have 20 studios hosting their art, and over 43 artists.  VERY COOL!

Because of the big "to-do", we had the opportunity to tie in to a promotion with the fabulous Public Radio station in Seattle, KPLU.

I donated one of my fun necklaces, with pretty pinks and vintage buttons.  And YOU have the opportunity to bid on it, and all the other items our wonderful artists donated.

How can you bid on this item?

Click this link.

I am so proud of our artist group, and them stepping up to donate such wonderful items.  There are beautiful oil paintings, fused glass, hand died silk, porcelain pottery, all kinds of amazing work.  We are asking that the winning bidders pick their item up at the Artist's Tour, but some items may be mailed.

Hopefully you'll have a chance to take a look at the auction, and bid on some items you love.

Hug and love to all!  Hope you're making something you love today.
Riki

I love it when artists come together for a good cause and to celebrate the pretty things in life!

The Inspiration Muse is flowing through me today so I'm hunkered down in my studio making my own pretty things...

Beautiful piece you have donated my friend! But, really Elle & I want to come to the studio tour!!!! :) We are freezing our FANNY off down here. It was 8 degrees last night! YIKES! We SOUTHERN girls don't like COLD! Poor Elle runs out on that frozen grass & squats all the while looking at me like "Whats the deal Mom". She got a new fur collared coat. I need to do a post about her wardrobe. HUGS to you & Ms Maddie!
