Sneak Peak!

So where has Riki been lately?

I've been working hard on getting ready for my classes in Houston, at the all jewelry retreat, Adorn Me! from March 2-7. I'm getting really excited about teaching the classes, and have been making examples.
I'll be teaching a hinged cuff bracelet class, and here are a few examples.

I'm supplying everything for the bracelet class, so all the students have to do is show up with their tools and get ready to have fun! I have to show you the darling kits I'm making to put all the supplies in, another time!

Please contact me if you are interested in the class and have any questions. I would love to see you there.

So how are all of my blogging buddies out there? I haven't been in touch much, a lot happening in my world. My little boy dog is ill. Had surgery and will undergo chemo, we'll see how he does with it. Watching your four legged kids get ill is so heart wrenching, I haven't been able to eat or sleep. But he's doing much better than I am. Please send lots of hugs and kisses Chester's way, we need all the positive thoughts and love we can get.

Take care everyone. And I still intend to do a giveaway to celebrate my one year blog anniversary.

Oh Riki, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB,

I have finally now willing to admit that there is no way I can make Adorn Me this year :( There is no class from you, Diane, Deryn or anybody Soooob. The trip north this fall for the wedding really took the wind out of our trip sails. And LW,s mum is 90 now and one never knows. Next year for sure :)

Ahhhhh Little Chester is in my thoughts I'll pass the news on to our 5 firkids so they can send him all kinds of positive chi!!!

Pattie ;)

My prayers and good doggie wishes are flying from the Foothills to the Sea. Give Chester a careful pat on the head for me and tell him that every thing will be all right. It will Riki..., it will be OK.
There cuffs are beautiful but I will have to pass on the class since I'm already signed up for your "Charming Romance" workshop. Can't wait.

Oh Riki I love the bracelets!!!! I need to check the class schedule & see what day you are teaching. I am already signed up for 4 classes & I am afraid it may be overload already.

I am so sorry to hear about poor Chester being ill. We have been going through the trenches with our sweet Reba. She developed pancreatitis over the holidays. I have cried & been sick with worry. She is improving but, the doctor says this is something she will never get over completely. It will lurk the rest of her life. Sooooooooooo $1,500 late I still smile when I see the Heart Beat at my feet smile back at me. HUGS, PRAYERS, & PUPPY KISSES COMING YOUR WAY! Charlene

I'm so sorry to hear about your dear pup. I am sending good thought and prayers your way.

As for classes, do you think you could swing by Las Vegas next year for Art and Soul? I would love to take a class from you and with my teaching schedule and college metalsmithing classes I won't be able to travel for a while! Do say yes!

My heart is with you, I can't imagine how difficult it would be to go through this with your sweet, Chester. I will be sending wishes for a speedy recovery for Chester and peace for you.

Your hinged cuffs are really lovely. I don't know how you get such a nice deep etch. Whenever I have tried it, mine are not as defined.

Wish I could be there in your class in Houston, maybe the next one.... xo Julie

Can anyone translate this comment above? I tried, but it doesn't appear to be Japanese or Chinese??? Guess they like my bracelets! That's cool.

Thanks for all the well wishes about Chester. We start chemo tomorrow, keep those wonderful hugs and good thoughts coming!
