New Etsy listing

Le Petite box on Etsy

I listed another little goodie on Etsy today! Okay, I'm getting the hang of it now. It didn't take me hours this time. That's a relief! Actually, I'm kind of getting in to it. Now I just have to make LOTS of cool stuff that people will want to buy! Whew. It never stops.

Okay you Etsy experts out there. How often do I need to be listing new items to keep folks interested? What is your advice? Is there a minimum amount of items you think it's important to keep listed? Any advice??

Thanks art sisters. And thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! Have a great day.

I have no clue about Etsy. But I know I love the goodies you have on Etsy!! Can't wait to play this weekend with you and Diana. I can never learn enough jewelry techniques, I'm afraid...

Oooh Riki..what a beauty of a box..Stunning!!!I'm new to Etsy, but a friend did pass on that you should list something every week, week 1/2,one item is fine, just to keep your items appearing in the currently listed section of your catagory.Hope this makes sense.Hugs-Cat

I like having my items on etsy, but HATE the process of doing it!
Your new box is perfectly beautiful!

Love the box. Not sure about the Etsy listing. (When you find out let me know ;-)
I think that when you have built enough of a following, then you can go to once or maybe twice a week or like some I have seen build the anticipation and then go maybe once a month! I am not going to stress myself out too much at first. There is always time to perfect it down the road, right? I have been reading a lot of what Cat Ivins of Olivebites on her blog has had to say about Etsy of late. She is a master! Enjoy the day Riki!

I don't have an Etsy store but I would think that if you want to sell your beautiful jewelry, you should put up new things frenquently enough to keep people coming back to look. You shouldn't have trouble doing that. You will sell anything that you show on Etsy. The only problem, I see, will be making enough to keep up with the supply and demand. Good luck.

Riki, your ornate box is so beautiful! I bet you can't go wrong listing as frequently as possible on Etsy... but it is certainly a task!

the box is lovely... as for etsy, new things going up once a week is great, but if you cannot get to it, just relist something... it's 20 cents... and this is something i need to do myself... i tend to let the shop stagnate when i get involved in other things...

Hi Riki, Love the items you have listed ,they are beautiful!:) I think that if you keep it fresh you will do well. No experience here, just some retail background. I am also thinking of giving it a whirl too! I did have an etsy set up a while back, but I was not really ready to make the commentment to keep it current. :) I know you will have great success with your beautiful jewelry! Hugs, Stephani

Riki - Congrats on your second offering on Etsy...love it, my dear - just love it. Keep adding things as you can to keep it interesting... A friend once told me that folks can't buy if they can't see it! There's a salt of the earth, Midwestern bit of advice for you... hugs & blessings - Julie

cute little box! Not much advice on Etsy yet since I just started mine too. When you find out let me know. LOL
I started with a whopping 45 things, overkill and way to much work involved!

I'm a big believer in more is more. When I first started on Etsy it was very important to list as much as possible and have as much as possible in the shop. I had no following and was completely unknown so that is the way I built up my business. Now, I still list frequently, nearly every day, but most of my customers come from my blog, my Facebook fan page or people I meet at shows. I don't think I actually get many new customers that just happen to stumble across me on Etsy. It's really just all about promotion. If you ever want to ask any questions or chat about it just drop me an email - naneliz2@yahoo.com. :)
