FAST FORWARD
How is it possible that it has been so long since I posted? Wow.
Well there has been a lot going on. Summer is now pretty much behind us here in the beautiful Pacific NW, and we will be heading south for some fall shortly.
I wanted to make sure I let you know about my next retreat, in Petaluma, CA, on Sept. 27-29. I'll be teaching three classes there, one repeat due to demand, yipee.
Friday and Saturday, join me for Cast Some Magic
I'll show you how to make beautiful charms and focal pieces using solder.
Perhaps make a charm necklace or charm bracelet?
Then on Saturday, I'm teaching Le Petite Photo,
learn to make small darling frames.
Adorn them with all kinds of goodies! Yummm!
Make them in to pendants!?
On that Saturday night the retreat holds a huge vendor night, where I'll have some of my vintage finds from France, as well as many parts for making mixed media.

Beautiful things here. Big sigh, I wish Petaluma was closer to Kansas.
I have always wanted to go to this Art Retreat. I always seem to leave too early. Maybe next year. Thanks for stopping by recent post & I'm sorry to say the answer to your question of when we leave.... It's Thursday. I am so bummed about leaving. IF I didn't have to leave again at the end of September (going to Gig Harbor to see Laurie Garcia & then off to Terry Brush Fall Art Camp) we would stay through the end of September but, I feel like I need to get home & catch up on a few things. YOU know how hard it is to be gone & try to catch up. Plus.... We still have moving boxes everywhere. We had closed on the old house May 24 & left home July 1. Needless to say I have a bit of work there too. But, with the heat we knew we didn't want to mess with that project so we just LEFT! I'm sure the good fairies did not do a blasted thing while we were away. Let me know if you will arrive home before Thursday & I'd love to hook up. Hugs!
Riki, your big retreat is right around the corner! You must be busy getting ready. So much to juggle with preparing for so many workshops and gathering your goodies for the Vendor night. Oh I'd love to see your treasures from France in person! I wish you all the best at the retreat teaching these beautiful projects - wish I could be there!
